Bloomin Deserts Landscaping and Pools Win Dealer Pool Profile – Autumn 2026

The brief was to design and deliver more than just a fibreglass pool installation — it needed to be a fully considered outdoor living space. The homeowners were clear that they “didn’t want just a pool plumped in the yard” but instead wanted a fully integrated backyard swimming pool design, where paving, planting, and circulation all worked together seamlessly.

Like many compact residential sites, other pool builders struggled to visualise how a fibreglass swimming pool could be successfully integrated into the space. Bloomin Deserts successfully delivered a complete pool design and construction solution, maximising functionality without compromising aesthetics.

A strong focus on custom swimming pool design allowed the team to unlock the full potential of the backyard. Rather than treating the pool as a single element, the entire space was designed as a cohesive outdoor environment. The homeowners reflected that engaging a design-led pool builder and landscaper was critical, stating they “strongly believe they wouldn’t have achieved such a nice finish if it was just ‘put the pool here.’”

This approach ultimately highlights the value of professional fibreglass swimming pool design and installation, particularly on smaller residential sites where space efficiency is essential.

The Leisure Pools Platinum Plunge 3.50m fibreglass swimming pool in Silver Grey was selected as the centrepiece of the project. This premium Leisure Pools fibreglass pool offers a sleek, modern profile ideal for compact backyards, making it a popular choice for homeowners seeking a low-maintenance plunge pool solution.

Despite its compact footprint, the pool delivers a strong architectural presence and a resort-style feel. The homeowners were genuinely surprised by the transformation, noting they “still walk out and are amazed at what fits into our small backyard.”

A defining feature of this project is the seamless integration between the fibreglass swimming pool and the surrounding landscape design. Every element — from paving to planting — was carefully considered to create a unified outdoor living and pool environment. The homeowners described the result perfectly: “Everything just melds together… it doesn’t look crowded, it looks proportional.”

The inclusion of connecting pathways, structured planting, and an extended entertaining area ensures the swimming pool landscape design feels open, functional, and highly liveable.

The material selection reinforces the high-end nature of the project. Silver Grey travertine paving pairs with Millboard decking, delivering a durable and stylish finish ideal for pool surrounds and outdoor entertaining areas. PIK fencing provides privacy and safety while maintaining a clean architectural look, and integrated drainage and hidden pool equipment solutions ensure a clutter-free finish that enhances the overall modern pool design aesthetic.

This fibreglass pool installation incorporates advanced pool technology designed for ease of use and long-term efficiency. Together with full swimming pool automation, integrated LED pool lighting, Waterwich autofill system and acoustic enclosure, these systems and enhancements elevate the functionality of the pool while maintaining a calm and relaxing backyard swimming pool environment.

Beyond aesthetics, this project demonstrates the lifestyle benefits of a professionally designed fibreglass swimming pool and landscape package. The addition of an extended patio and improved circulation zones has significantly enhanced how the homeowners use their outdoor space. As they shared, “We are ecstatic with the final result…It’s basically extended our living area.” The pool has also become a central feature for family life, with grandchildren regularly enjoying the space — reinforcing the value of a well-designed family swimming pool installation.

The homeowners praised the entire installation process, highlighting the professionalism of the Bloomin Deserts team. They described the build as being delivered “without fuss” and emphasised the exceptional level of workmanship and finishing detail typically expected from a premium fibreglass swimming pool installation specialist. Importantly, they also felt the design process solved complex spatial challenges, stating their requirements were “fixed and solved really nicely.”
